Baby Aurorabat

During those long nights of Winter, nothing can quite compare to the majesty that is the Northern Lights. When the conditions are right, the Aurora Borealis ignites dark skies with myriad shifting colours, from greens to pinks through purples and more. The Merry Dancers as they are known in parts of Scotland are the source of many magical tales. And for Feyrish Wood, the Aurora is most known for being beloved by the Aurorabat.

While many types of bat hibernate through the cold winter months, the Aurorabat is at their most active, dancing their own merry dance in night skies bursting with colour. Their wings reflect the colours of the skies, pulsing and shifting in a kaleidoscope of hues. To be blessed to see one is an omen of good fortune.

The baby aurorabats are made from fabric and polymer clay, with wired wings. They come in a small, wooden decorative coffin.
