Affectionately, though rather impolitely, known as the hairy terraria, these creatures carry entire small arcologies on their backs, protecting miniaturised worlds of magic. 

One of the most gentle of beings in Feyrish Wood, the tiny world upon their back forms a safe haven for the smallest of denizens of the wood, with the Dhortmi assisting their annual migration. They can live for an astounding amount of time, and continue to grow throughout their lives. When they make their first migration as juveniles, their domes are palm sized, and can house only the smallest of creatures. But the oldest and largest among their number can grow longer than the height of two men.
