Heather Dragon

When one thinks of the Highlands of Scotland, the image which likely springs to mind is of a rugged landscape, deep lochs, and hills covered in heather. Feyrish Wood, being a place which borders these lands, also has its share of heather-covered hills. As with all things in this enchanted realm, it comes with a magical twist. 

The heather is home to a unique variety of miniature dragon. 

In rich hues of pinks and purples, their faces are framed in scales which 

resemble delicate heather flowers. With shimmering green wings they 

camouflage themselves as they lie in wait to ambush prey. They are among the smallest dragons in the Wood. Small enough even when fully grown to sit in the palm of a human hand. Being so small in stature they are cautious of larger beings, but can eventually make strong bonds. When their trust has been earned, they make playful and loving companions.
