Escargeode

While looking very much like the humble snail, the Escargeodes sport jewel toned shells, glistening with crystal and gilt in purest gold. They are truly beautiful creatures if both somewhat slow and not too bright. The largest of the Escargeodes are prized among the Goblins of the Wood as mounts for the annual summertime race, The Determination Derby. While significantly smaller than the champion, Charoite, these mini Escargeodes make excellent companions. 

Each Escargeode measures 15+ centimetres in length. Their faces are made from polymer clay with glass beads for the eyes. They have a wire armature so they can be posed.
