Sycamore Fairies

Gently spinning to the forest floor, sycamore fairies are surprisingly shy and dainty creatures. Using wooden masks to hide their faces, their glowing eyes are often all you will see of them before they dash away into the canopy. They are most active after sundown, using the dim light to mask their presence, while they hunt flying insects. Being shy creatures, they are slow to form friendships with other creatures in the Wood, though they are sometimes found around the same waterholes as the Spinystags, who likewise prefer the quiet.

These creatures are around 7cm tall, and feature joints at the neck and each limb to be posed. Their wings are made from real sycamore leaves and as such are very delicate.
